FAQs

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a limited number of rooms reserved across the 3 properties. Accommodations have been assigned to some of our guests. Unfortunately, there are not enough rooms for our entire guest list. Some people will need to find other accommodations. There are many beautiful homes to rent through VRBO, Airbnb, and local rental companies. Look for rentals on Harbour Island. We recommend booking ASAP since February is peak season! Hotels outside our wedding room block that we recommend: Coral Sands Inn & Cottages The Dunmore Hotel Pink Sands Resort The Landing Runaway Hill Inn Rock House Hotel Valentines Resort Romora Bay Resort Connect with Mary or Evan if you have any questions!

Question

How do I get to all the wedding events?

Answer

Arranged transportation will be provided. For guests staying at The Other Side and The Farm, transportation to & from Harbour Island for the Welcome Party at The Ocean View Club will be provided. For guests staying at The Ocean View Club and on Harbour Island, transportation to & from The Other Side for the Pool Party, Ceremony & Reception will be provided. More info to come.

Question

How do I get around Harbour Island?

Answer

We recommend reserving a golf cart rental if you are staying on Harbour Island. This is the main form of transportation on the island. If you are staying at the Ocean View Club or another hotel, check with the hotel concierge first to see if they can help organize transportation/golf cart rentals. If you are staying at a home rental, we recommend contacting one of the local golf cart rental companies. You will want to arrange transportation before you arrive on Harbour Island. Those staying at The Other Side and The Farm do not need to rent golf carts since we will be on Eleuthera. FYI - They drive on the opposite side of the road!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Welcome Party: Coastal Cocktail For women, this could mean any cocktail dress. We recommend bringing a light layer, such as a pashmina, for breezy evenings. For men, think linen/light blazers, collared shirt, tailored trousers, and loafers, no tie. Pool Party: Join us for an afternoon by (or in) the pool. Think stylish swimwear, cover-ups, and linen (for men). Pack your favorite resort wear! Ceremony & Reception: Black Tie Optional Strongly encourage tuxes and floor-length formal dresses. Ceremony & Reception will not be on the beach.

Question

Are my kids invited?

Answer

Our events will be kid-free with the exception of our flower girl and ring bearer.

Question

Additional Notes!

Answer

Make sure your passport is valid!!! U.S. citizens traveling to the Bahamas generally need a valid passport with at least six months' validity beyond their travel dates. We recommend a international phone plan. USD is widely accepted in the Bahamas. Please bring cash for taxis, water taxis, etc. Remember... we are on Island Time! Relax, have a Goombay Smash or a Kalik Light!
