Our journey began thanks to a mutual friend, who introduced us at just the right time. Not long after, Eston asked me to the homecoming dance — and of course, I said yes! That night was the start of something truly special. We began dating soon after, and over the next four years, our love continued to grow. Then came one of the most beautiful chapters of our lives: welcoming our sweet son, Jack, into the world. He’s the heart of our little family and the biggest blessing we could have ever imagined. Now, we’re so excited to take the next step and officially say “I do,” surrounded by the people we love most.

During a weekend trip to West Michigan to help family move, we took some time to enjoy the beautiful day and headed to Grand Haven for a walk and an early dinner. What I didn’t know was that something incredibly special had been planned. After our meal, we made our way to the beach. As Eston and I walked along the shore, our son Jack came running toward us — wearing a shirt that said “Will you marry my daddy?” and holding a little ring box. Surrounded by our family, who were all in on the surprise, Eston got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was a perfect moment filled with love, laughter, and happy tears
