We first met at my best friend's house for a bible study over 2 years ago. Unfortunately, the timing wasn't right for us until we reconnected a year later. Over the course of few months and spending most weekends together we became good friends and when the time was right, Dustin asked me out. He prayed to God for a word and God gave us both the same scripture, Proverbs 13:12 "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life". God gave Dustin this same scripture three times in one week, once at a men's breakfast, the next from myself and the third at a men's hiking retreat. This confirmed that God brought us together and we haven't looked back since! God is so good and loves us so much. If we only surrender to His will and trust Him, the wonderful gifts and plans He has for us surpasses all understanding. God is good!
