Things To Do

We're excited to welcome you to Boston for our wedding weekend and to share some of our favorite places to eat and favorite things to do!

Bostonia Public House

131 State Street, Boston, MA 02109
, (617) 948-9800

Great restaurant close to Faneuil Hall and a 5 min walk from the Marriott Long Wharf to grab brunch or dinner.

Legal Sea Foods - Long Wharf

255 State Street, Boston, MA 02109
, (617) 742-5300

There are few Legal Sea Foods around Boston if you want to try some classic New England seafood. This location is right across the street from the Marriott Long Wharf and where we went for our first date night in Boston in 2018!

Granary Tavern

170 Milk Street, Boston, MA 02109
, (617) 449-7110

Another good restaurant close to the Marriott for brunch, lunch, or dinner.

Warehouse Bar & Grille

40 Broad Street, Boston, MA 02109
, (617) 936-4383

For all Notre Dame, Michigan and UConn football fans, Warehouse is near the Long Wharf, has too many TVs to count and will be sure to be airing all the big games of the weekend. Between the ceremony and reception, here's where you can watch ND vs Cal or Michigan vs UConn.

Bricco

241 Hanover Street, Boston, MA 02113
, (617) 248-6800

One of our favorite restaurants in the North End with their famous espresso martinis! We recommend making a reservation as all places in the North End are relatively small and always busy.

Trattoria Il Panino

280 Hanover Street, Boston, MA 02113
, (617) 720-1336

Another North End favorite. We recommend making a reservation well in advance for a dinner in the North End.

Aqua Pazza

135 Richmond Street, Boston, MA 02109
, (857) 350-3105

Another North End favorite, but with a focus on New England seafood!

The Black Rose

160 State Street, Boston, MA 02109
, (857) 465-4100

For all 21+, the Black Rose is a favorite bar of ours downtown due to its live music. Grab a pint of Guinness (Drew) or a Smithwick's Red Ale (Mary) and listen to live Irish bands.

Freedom Trail Starting Point

Freedom Trail, Boston, MA 02114

For the history enthusiasts and first timers to Boston, the Freedom Trail is a great way to tour downtown Boston and see many of the historic landmarks around the city.

Quincy Market

206 South Market Street, Boston, MA 02109
, (617) 523-1300

Quincy Market is a historic market complex near Faneuil Hall in downtown Boston. There are hundred of shops both inside and outside the three market buildings.

Public Garden

4 Charles Street, Boston, MA 02116
, (617) 635-4505

Explore, hangout, or people watch in the Public Garden. The angel statue in the far northwest corner is where Drew popped the question!

Fenway Park

4 Jersey St, Boston, MA 02215
, (877) 733-7699

The Red Sox will be hosting the Kansas City Royals at Fenway this weekend. For those staying the weekend, this is a great opportunity to visit one of America's most beloved ballparks... on Friday or Sunday please :) Go Sox!

USS Constitution

Charlestown Navy Yard, Boston, MA 02129
, (617) 426-1812

"Old Ironsides" is a three-masted wooden-hulled heavy frigate of the United States Navy. She is the world's oldest ship of any type still afloat today.

Charles River Esplanade

Esplanade, Boston, MA 02116
, (617) 227-0365

A favorite path to run, bike, or stroll along the river. After your run/stroll, we recommend grabbing a beer at a local brewery pop up called Owls Nest that looks out on the Charles!

For all the days along the way
