Mary and David can both testify that the way they met was truely a blessing and the connection they had with each other was quite surprising. However, the story that they enjoy telling most is how they got their nick names "Seun K. and Seun T. " Both Mary's and David's middle name is Oluwaseun, which means “thank you Lord” in Yoruba, one of Nigeria's many languages. It seems that both their parents were extremely grateful for them at birth and named them Oluwaseun; in general "Seun" is the short form. As you can imagine, that can get confusing when together. When being called on they offen found themselves asking "which Seun? me or her/him?". It got to a point that our mother in the Lord, Pastor Victoria Oluwalowo finally blessed them with the names Seun K. and Seun T. short for Seun Kehinde and Seun Taiwo. In the Yoruba Culture the names Kehinde and Taiwo are given to twins at birth. Both families have gained two Seuns in the faimly and moreoever their birthdays are both in the month of April. As you can see the name fits this happy couple so well. We bless the Lord for their lives and their coming together. God is so faithful and God's time is always the best.
