Do you like Rom Coms? Well, you're about to hear one, but this isn't a movie—it's real life. After all, movies need inspiration! When Cody met Mary, it was the foundation of a blockbuster in the making. Cody and Mary met in 2017 in Los Angeles, CA, while working on Guy's Grocery Games in the Casting Department. They both vividly remember the first time they laid eyes on each other. Their very first handshake was electric, with both internally asking, "Did I just meet the male/female version of myself?" At work, they were paired together as a team, where they proved not only to be an amazing duo but also crushed every task together. For the next five years, Mary kept Cody in the friend zone until one day, Cody needed a date for his friend's wedding. That event would be the one to hard-launch their feelings, not just to each other but to the world. Since then, they've embarked on countless adventures and can't wait to create even more. Mary's best friend Meg always said, "You want your life to be like the movies," and Mary and Cody's love is what inspires what you see on the screen. These two have proven that sometimes the love of your life is right in front of you—it just may take a few years to realize it.

Cody and Mary are thrilled to celebrate their love with everyone in New Orleans! Please note, this is an adults-only wedding—no exceptions. If you’re unable to attend because of this, we completely understand. The wedding will take place at the Royal Omni hotel on the 2nd floor garden terrace. They ask everyone to come prepared to dance and drink the night away. These two proud extroverts want to make sure New Orleans knows that this union is going to be LIT! Once the couple says "I do," everyone will head downstairs to second line in celebration of their union! After that, we’ll head back to keep the festivities going with more drinks, delicious food, and lots of dancing. Get ready for a night to remember!

We kindly request everyone to dress in formal/elegant attire for our wedding. For men, this means suits, dress shirts, and dress shoes. For women, formal dresses, gowns/cocktail dresses or elegant jumpsuits are preferred. Use our wedding as an excuse to get glammed up! Please note, no jeans are allowed. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us create a beautiful and elegant celebration. Even though the guests and bride/groom will look elegant we request to still bring your feral/ratchet energy to the dance floor. We can still look nice and also have a damn good time.
