What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Please dress in what you are most comfortable in! Women- Please avoid the colors white or dark blue as these are reserved for the bride and bridal party.

Please see the Airbnb wishlist and hotels linked on the travel page. There are options in Otisfield, Oxford, Norway and surrounding areas. Please consider booking in a group!

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive around 3:30-3:45pm so you can be in your seat by 4:00 for the ceremony. Please plan ahead for the long drive and accommodations.

Are children invited?

Answer

Only children in the immediate family/wedding party are invited to the wedding. This will be specified on your RSVP. Of these children, all children under the age of 5 years old should remain inside the venue's house for the ceremony. They are welcome to join us for cocktail hour and the reception.

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Weather permitting- the ceremony will be on the back lawn by the water. The reception will be in an event tent located at the front of the house. Please wear shoes that are comfortable for grass. In the event of rain, the ceremony will also take place in the tent.

What type of venue is it?

Answer

The venue is a lake house in Maine that will be privately rented by us for the weekend.

Where should I park?

Answer

When arriving to the house, you will drive through an opened gate and down a long dirt road. There is an ample driveway and parking area at the bottom of the hill right in front of the house. There will also be a field on your left close to the house that cars can park in. Please carpool if able to.

What’s for dinner?

Answer

We are having a BBQ Buffet! This will include brisket, braised chicken and other sides. Please list on your RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions.

Are dogs allowed?

Answer

Oakley and Dallas will be the only dogs allowed at the venue.
