We're so excited to share some of our favorite places in Richmond with you. Here are a list of some recommendations morning to night, a perfect day in our opinion.

Things To Do

Morning Cary Street stroll to retrieve delicious bagels with at least three inches of cream cheese in the middle.

Chewy's Bagels

Beat the heat and go for a morning walk in Richmond's large park with a Japanese garden and animal center. All free!

Maymont

Good for brunch or lunch. Mary's favorite spot. Her go to is the "Got your Goat" biscuit with fried chicken, goat cheese, and pepper jelly.

The Fancy Biscuit

Whether you have room or not after lunch or dinner, you must stop for a slice of chocolate caramel cake. A cute bakery right across the street from the Fancy Biscuit.

Shyndigz

Spend the hot afternoon touring around this free museum. Brennen and Mary's favorites include the famous Faberge eggs, Asian artifact section, and the Van Goghs.

Virginia Museum of Fine Arts

Grab dinner at this burger spot. Must get the deep fried mac and cheese bites and the parmesan-truffle fries! Can't go wrong!

Beauvine Burger Concept

Lastly, wind down with a movie in a vintage theatre built in the 20s with a funky organ performance before every showing. Tickets are $9.
