Our story began online when Bharat sent Mary a message on Facebook in December 2020. At first, it didn’t lead anywhere, but fate had other plans! He followed up on Instagram, and that’s where our conversation truly began. Something about our chats just clicked, and it wasn’t long before we decided to meet in person. Our first date was on January 10, 2021, and it felt like the beginning of something special. From then on, we went on more dates, and our connection only grew stronger. By the third date, Bharat introduced Mary to his mom over a video call, showing just how important family is to him. A few months later, Mary met Bharat's parents in person when they came over for vacation, which made it clear how serious and genuine he was. Though we have opposite personalities, those differences bring balance to our relationship. One thing we’ve always bonded over is our love for movies, especially Bollywood films! Watching them together has become one of our favorite ways to relax and spend time with each other. Through honesty, respect, and consistency, our connection blossomed into something truly beautiful. Now, we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this journey together!

Our first trip together outside the country took us to Iceland, and it's where Bharat decided to pop the question in a way Mary will never forget. Bharat had originally planned to propose at a stunning crater called Apple Crater, but the weather and the remote location didn't quite work out as he envisioned. Instead, he turned it into the most funny and romantic moment. We ended up on a mountain near one of Iceland's most active volcanoes, Mount Hekla. The proposal, though not according to plan, was perfect in its own unique way. It was a beautiful, unexpected moment that captured both the adventure and the love we share. It wasn't the proposal he originally imagined, but it was uniquely ours. The humor, the spontaneity, and the beauty of the moment made it perfect. It was an experience we will treasure forever, and we wouldn't change a single thing about it.

We officially tied the knot in a small, intimate civil ceremony on October 11, 2024. It was a meaningful moment, shared with a few loved ones as we took our first steps as married couple. This day will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we are so excited to celebrate our love with everyone during our upcoming reception! The day will include a short ceremony followed by an evening of fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
