Tucked along the coast of Monterey, the Hotel Del Monte has been a symbol of timeless romance and glamour since it first opened its doors in 1880. Designed as a luxurious seaside escape, it quickly became a haven for artists, dignitaries, and stars of the silver screen.
In its golden years, the hotel played host to presidents and poets, tycoons and trailblazers—but perhaps most dazzling were the Hollywood legends who graced its grand halls. Think Charlie Chaplin, Clark Gable, and Errol Flynn sipping cocktails beneath the Art Deco chandeliers, or strolling the manicured gardens that still bloom today.
Though the world around it has changed, the Hotel Del Monte still stands—elegant, storied, and full of heart. It’s the kind of place that feels like a black-and-white film come to life, making it the perfect setting for a new love story—ours.
