4:00 pm
As we begin our new life together, we are excited to share in each others’ cultures and traditions. As such, the day will be a mix of both of our customs and fashions. Guests are welcome to wear either western or Indian clothes.
This is a religious ceremony, so please keep in mind that modesty is appreciated. If you would like to to wear something different for the reception, there will be a small gap between events which can be used to change.
6:00 pm
We invite you to dress in whatever makes makes you feel most fabulous! Cocktail or Formal attire is encouraged and both Indian and western wear are welcome. If you would like to wear Indian attire and not sure where to begin, we recommend using search terms like “kurta”, “sherwani”, or “Nehru jacket” for menswear or “kurti”, “lehenga”, “sharara”, or “saree” for womenswear.
This event will include a cocktail hour followed by dinner and dancing. Now is a good time to brush up on your Bollywood bops so you can cut a rug in English and Hindi. We will have a Photo Booth to capture some memories, so practice your poses now!
