We met when we both worked at Mimi's Cafe in Murfressboro, TN. I was a bartender and he was a line cook. I had been working there for a while when I saw him walk in for his first day. I told my friend I thought he was cute and she went and gave my number to him. We hung out together for a month or so and then he eventually took me on a date and he asked me to be his girlfriend on April 24th, 2015.

After we were dating for a few months, we adopted a kitty together on August 6th, 2015. We named him Porter and he has been a huge part of our lives ever since. We both graduated from MTSU and then moved to Chattanooga, TN in September of 2016. Aaron got a job with Jason's Deli as an Assistant General Manager and I got a job at The Hutton Company as an Accountant. Through the years we have celebrated many holidays and career advances together. We have also grown and learned a lot from each other. We knew we were going to be together forever and Aaron made it official on August 26th, 2019 when he proposed to me on the beach in Cancun, Mexico. We were originally supposed to get married on November 1st, 2020 but due to COVID-19 we have decided to postpone our wedding to October 31st, 2021.
