Aaron and I have known each other since the 4th grade, so we grew up together but both NEVER thought we would fall in love and get married. Best friends and nothing more, the thought or the timing of being together was never a possibility. Years later, you would find us calling and texting to spend more time together and eventually figuring out our true love, friendship and loyalty for each other was what we had been looking for the whole time -- right under our noses. Now a days you'll find us on the water or in the garden, working at our oyster farm (Herring Shoal Shellfish Co.), or at home finishing up our chicken coop. We love cooking good food, eating as local as we can, and making homemade bread. At the end of the day, you'll find us taking the dogs to the sand island with a cold drink and horseshoes to catch the sunset. Aaron is Captain of the F/V Watersport, upholding a generational legacy for offshore commercial fishing and I am proud to work in Healthcare (Radiology) here on the Outer Banks. We've created a sustainable living life, farming (land and sea), a new business, a dream home together, and with our two boys (Banks and Boscoe) we have given it all to God as we embark on our future journey to become Husband and Wife. If you told us as little kids that we would end up together, we would have called you crazy, but here we are...crazy in love and couldn't be happier.
