Venue Restaurant & Lounge

Venue Restaurant & Lounge

4111 Pioneer Woods Drive, Lincoln, NE 68506

This spot is extra special to us — it’s where we had our first “formal” date! We dressed up, had our friend Austen snap some photos, and spent the week before searching for the perfect pair of comfy-but-cute black heels. It’s full of great memories, and we hope you love it as much as we do. 💖

Koen Japanese BBQ & Sushi

Koen Japanese BBQ & Sushi

2601 Jamie Lane, Lincoln, NE 68512

This is where Maryan took Sofiya last year when she visited Lincoln for a holiday weekend — it was Sofiya's first Korean BBQ experience! It quickly became her favorite memory (and meal!). 🍣🔥

Hiro 88 Haymarket

Hiro 88 Haymarket

601 R Street, Lincoln, NE 68508

This is where we first met in 2024 — Sofiya's very first day in Lincoln after a 14-hour drive for her out-of-state pharmacy rotation! Over sushi and a drive around the city, we quickly discovered an easy connection that made Lincoln feel like home.

Sunken Gardens

Sunken Gardens

2600 D Street, Lincoln, NE 68502

The Sunken Gardens - beautiful place to relax, take photos, or enjoy a quiet stroll during your visit.

Nebraska State Capitol

Nebraska State Capitol

1445 K Street, Lincoln, NE 68508

A must-see for history and architecture lovers. Its art-deco design and sweeping views from the tower make it a beautiful stop while exploring the city. The building is open to visitors until 5 p.m.

Holy Family Shrine

Holy Family Shrine

23132 Pflug Road, Gretna, NE 68028

A little outside of town, this peaceful glass chapel offers stunning views and a quiet place to reflect. The buildings and grounds are open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and Sunday noon–5 p.m. It’s a beautiful spot to pause and take in the scenery on your way in or out of Lincoln.
