Is there a dress code?

Our wedding will blend tradition and elegance with a formal, glamorous atmosphere. The dress code is glam and formal attire—think evening gowns, suits, or traditional cultural wear such as sarees, lehengas, or sherwanis. Please note that the Nikkah ceremony is a religious event, so we kindly ask guests to dress modestly: covered shoulders and hemlines below the knee are recommended. The reception will follow, where you can showcase your best formal look.

Answer
We are so grateful for your love and presence as we travel from Buffalo to Long Island for the wedding. That truly means everything to us. We kindly ask that you please do not bring physical gifts or gift boxes to the venue, as we won’t be able to transport them. If you feel moved to give something, a simple card is more than enough. Your prayers and presence are the real gift!

We kindly ask that you please let us know by July 15th at the latest whether you’ll be attending. This will help us finalize all the important details and make sure we can celebrate with you in the best way possible!

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony?
Answer
We will be providing transportation from Valley Stream to the wedding venue for guests who do not have access to a vehicle. There will be limited availability and If you’ll need a ride, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. Please note: Transportation is only available from Valley Stream—guests will need to arrange their own travel to that pickup location.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Yes! We’re hosting a Henna Night on Friday, August 8th at 4 PM in Valley Stream, and we’d love for you to join us. It will be a fun, festive evening with music, light refreshments, and optional henna application. Details are available on the website, and we kindly ask that you RSVP for this event separately so we can plan accordingly.

We kindly ask guests to arrive by 6:00 PM. The ceremony is scheduled to begin between 6:00 and 6:30 PM, so arriving on time will help ensure a smooth and respectful start.

Here are some nearby accommodations to suit various preferences: 🏨 Budget-Friendly Option • Tides Motor Inn at Stehli Beach Located approximately 4 miles from the venue, this motel offers basic amenities and is a short drive away. 🌟 3-Star Option • Hilton Garden Inn Roslyn Situated about 4.5 miles south of Glen Cove, this hotel provides comfortable rooms and modern amenities. 🏰 Luxury Option • The Mansion at Glen Cove A historic estate located just 0.7 miles from the venue, offering elegant rooms and a full-service spa. So far, we have a limited number of out-of-town guests, so we’ve decided against reserving a hotel block at this time. However, we’re happy to assist with any accommodation questions or recommendations. If you plan to use our transportation from Valley Stream, we recommend staying near that area.
