Question

Is there a vaccination requirement to attend?

Answer

Nick and I are fully vaccinated, as is our entire bridal party and our immediate families. We respectfully ask, if you have not gotten vaccinated, to please consider getting it for the health and safety of all our guests.

Question

What are the COVID precautions in place?

Answer

St. Louis City has reinstated a mask mandate, so our venue, Wild Carrot, is asking all guests to wear a mask as they enter the venue, and encourage each guest to do what they are comfortable with for the rest of the night. If you are not vaccinated, Wild Carrot does ask that you wear your mask whenever you are not eating and drinking, and when you are in line at the bar.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The absolute latest deadline to RSVP is September 7, 2021. However, with COVID, we know many of our out-of-town guests are understandably worried about traveling, and even our in-town guests are worried about mingling. If you know for certain you will not be attending due to COVID concerns, please respond ASAP so we can plan accordingly! Thank you :)

Question

Is the ceremony a full Catholic Mass?

Answer

Yes, we are doing a full Catholic Mass for our ceremony, which will take about one hour.

Question

Is it an unplugged ceremony, or are guests allowed to take their own photos?

Answer

We love photos and would love for you to take your own!! However, we do have a couple requests for the ceremony. We're asking our guests to please remain in their seats while taking photos so there's no interference with our photographer and videographer, and to please not extend/reach into the aisle for pictures. But go photo wild at the reception if you'd like!!! And be sure to tag us so we can share in the memories :)

Question

What is the parking situation like?

Answer

There is free parking at both Drury hotels we have reserved for our guests, and plenty of free parking at Incarnate Word, the location of our ceremony. There is very limited parking at our reception location, Wild Carrot. We ask that you please consider carpooling or using apps such as Uber and Lyft (so you can safely party as well!), and we have one shuttle to pick up guests from our hotels and transport them to the reception. If you are interested in this shuttle service, please text my mom, Jeanne Higdon, at (314) 313-3330, and if enough people are interested, we can schedule a second shuttle, if needed.

Question

Are children able to attend?

Answer

The reception is adults-only. Children are welcome at the ceremony.

Question

Are plus ones allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to the size of our guest list, we cannot offer plus ones for everybody. Please check out your invitation and your RSVP form to see who is included in your invitation- all the names will be there!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course!!! And the bartenders at Wild Carrot pride themselves on their craft cocktails, so you can get a little creative with your drinks, or ask for their recommendations.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire
