Flight
*Our recommended airport* Fly in and take a 20 minute car ride or 30 minute SEPTA ride to our reserved Center City hotels
Flight
For those traveling from Brazil, you may want to fly non-stop from GRU to EWR if you can't find a transfer to Philadelphia International Airport. If you do decide to fly into Newark, you can visit New York City for a few days and then take an affordable Amtrak Train from NY Moynihan Train Hall to Philadelphia's 30th Street Station (1 hour) If you want to skip sight-seeing in NY, you can take a cab from EWR to Newark Penn Station (~15 mins) or Metropark Station (~22 mins) to catch an Amtrak to Philadelphia (<1 hour)
Flight
If you must fly into JFK (we don't recommend it!) you can take the Air Train to Jamaica Station and then the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) to Penn Station, and then pick up the Amtrak from Penn Station/Moynihan to 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. You should not count on being able to uber or taxi from JFK to Philadelphia.
Train
Take the Amtrak to Philadelphia's 30th Street Station. From here, you can take a car (<10 mins) or SEPTA train (~15 mins) within a few blocks of the hotels we have reserved
Train
SEPTA is Philadelphia's public transit system. Passengers can purchase and reload reusable SEPTA Key cards (tickets) online and at SEPTA sales locations and station kiosks. Fares are $2 across subway, trolley and bus lines. If you don't want to get a SEPTA Key for the weekend, you can use exact change cash to pay your way, but note it will cost about $.50 more per ride Use Google Maps to help you find your route
Rental Car
Parking in Philadelphia can be pricey. If you would like to avoid riding public transportation or renting a car, download the Uber or Lyft app to hail a driver. If you have a car and would like to drive yourself to the wedding venue rather than take the Center City shuttle, there will be complimentary valet parking at The Glen Foerd
