FAQs

If you have any other questions about the wedding, please contact Mary-Cathryn at 334-740-9483!
Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at Target, Southern Crossing, Bed Bath and Beyond, Home Depot, and Wayfair. All of these registries can be found under the registry tab except for our Home Depot registry which must be done in store!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress for the wedding is Semi-Formal/Cocktail attire. Cocktail or Floor length dresses for women. Slacks and a coat for men, or just slacks and a button down. March weather is always very unpredictable, so jackets may or may not be needed since the wedding and reception will both take place outside. Our wedding ceremony will be held on a grassy lawn, so please bear this in mind when choosing your shoes for the evening!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! All ages are welcome and we will have food to suit everyone at the reception!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Therefore, our wedding is RSVP only and we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Please reach out to Mary-Cathryn for any clarity on this topic!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, parking is right on site so you will not have to park and walk a long way.

Question

Will the ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. The ceremony will be in a grassy courtyard. The reception will be held under a pavillion.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

No. We ask that ALL devices be tucked away during the ceremony. Our photographer, Jorja Jones, and our Videographer, Meg Waldrup will be capturing the entire ceremony. We want all of our guests to be fully present during the ceremony, in order to allow them to do their best work without the distraction of guest devices.

Question

Can I post photos from the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you do not take photos during the ceremony. Please use #HappilyHenderson when you post so we can keep track of all of your pictures. Feel free to tag us in them as well!!
