This love story began in January of 2012 where Marvin & LaTanya met through mutual friends at a LA Fitness location! At the end of the workout, LaTanya invited Marv to church the following Sunday and from there these two built a solid friendship for the next few years. While hanging out with mutual friends one evening Marv pulled LaTanya aside to express his true feelings for her. While shocked at first, LaTanya reciprocated his feelings—with Marvin’s laid back stance and LaTanya’s flare for glam they’ve enjoyed the best of both worlds over the years.They built their foundation centered around faith, love, family, and trust through attending church services, many date nights, afternoon walks, SEVERAL Netflix movies, plus many other shenanigans. Then on July 5,2019 , while on a date in NYC, these two ended up taking a stroll in Central Park on a HOT July afternoon since LaTanya had never been. Talking casually, they walked through a tunnel and sat on a rock to continue their conversation. Then out of the blue, Marv on one knee——and she said YESSSSSSS! LaTanya & Marvin can’t wait for this exciting new chapter to begin!
