How did we meet?

I never met someone so patient and understanding. When we first met our relationship was strictly professional.....for me anyway. Marvin and I had met 6 years ago at the hospital. He was starting his first week on the job. Marvin had said my smile drew him to me. Marvin knew right away he saw in me something I didnt even see in myself. We met at the right place but the wrong time. This never steered Marvin away. During the next three years , Marvin always hung around my floor always asking for me to the point he didn’t have to ask and my coworkers would say in unison “she’s not here Marvin” ! I never thought anything of it but the lingering idea of Marvin was always in a the back of my mind. Eventually, I reached a low point point in my life and that’s when Marvin came back in the picture. He pushed me to be me. Stronger, driven, and a better version of myself. I finally realized this is what I needed. I needed a relationship built on trust and respect. This is the man I’m going to marry . Now 3 years worth of memories and now with a new memory of walking down the aisle to spend the rest of our lives together!
