April 2025 started a brand new adventure neither one of us saw coming. He started on a new crew at the shipyard… my crew. After a couple of weeks we each had a job in the same compartment, so we started talking, getting to know each other, laughing, and realizing little by little how much we enjoyed each others company. After another couple of weeks, we had our “first date”. At Discount Tire. He had an appointment to get his tires replaced but tried to make excuses and not go, so I told him I would go with him. We dropped his car off and went to get coffee and Crumbl. He wasn’t satisfied with our first date being a tire appointment so the next weekend he took me out to dinner on a real date, and we’ve been inseparable since ❤️
