Although we’ve known each other since the sixth grade, our love story didn’t begin until spring semester of junior year. We went from Jeffery walking me to class and texting after school everyday to me *begrudgingly* (not wanting to break a no date promise to my bestie Zahra) agreeing to go to junior prom with him. I remember it like yesterday, the Wednesday after prom (April 27, 2011), behind Columbia High School he asked me (for the fifth time in four months...we love persistence and consistency, right ladies?) to be his girlfriend and honestly we've been stuck like glue ever since. From senior prom the following year, to attending the same university for undergrad, we've experienced so many of life's ups and downs together and can't wait to finally make our union official!
