You should book your flights into Soekarno–Hatta International Airport (CGK) in Jakarta. This is the main international airport and the most convenient entry point for your trip.
Most U.S. and many international passport holders can obtain a Visa on Arrival at the airport. It’s a simple process done upon landing. Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your travel date.
The wedding venue is Mercure Jakarta Cikini, located in the Menteng area. We recommend staying nearby for convenience, comfort, and easy access to the celebration.
Please use Grab, which is Indonesia’s most reliable ride-hailing service (similar to Uber). We kindly advise guests not to use taxis, buses, or trains, as Grab is safer, easier, and more predictable for international travelers.
The local currency is Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Credit cards are accepted in most hotels and restaurants, but we recommend carrying some cash for small purchases.
Jakarta is warm and humid year-round. Expect tropical weather, so bring light, breathable clothing.
The dress code is Wedding Formal. Please wear elegant formal attire—suits, tuxedos, and formal dresses are encouraged. Because of the tropical climate, lightweight and breathable fabrics are recommended while still maintaining a polished, elevated look.
Traffic can be unpredictable, so we recommend leaving 30–60 minutes earlier than planned travel time.
