Inside the Mexico City Airport you will take a bus that will take you to Queretaro for 25 USD, the bus line is called Primera Plus and they have really nice buses. We left their website although you can also buy them at the counter. At the bus station in Queretaro there's official taxi and uber service that will take you to your hotel.

Language
Most tourist spots and most of the hotels will have English speaking staff, however many of the people you’ll find on the streets don't speak English very well so have your google translate app on hand – you never know when you might need to ask for directions!

Cash, credit cards and money exchange
Most places will accept credit cards, but you will still find some smaller places that might only accept cash. We recommend that you exchange at least $100 at the airport just in case you need pesos. The exchange rate normally runs around 18 to 19 pesos per dollar. It also makes sense to have some smaller bills (pesos). Not all the people can easily exchange a 200 pesos bill.

Make sure to download uber on your phone! In addition to being way cheaper in Mexico than in the US it will be the easiest way to move around the city. It is also very safe and will allow you to have fair rates.
