Which airport should we fly into Berlin?

Answer

Berlin Bradenburg Airport (BER) is the main airport and about 35-45 minutes from either Berlin or slightly further for Potsdam.

Where should we stay?

Answer

If you wish to spend a few extra days in either Berlin or Potsdam, soon we'll update the "Travel, Hotels & Things to Do" section to include a curated a list of nice hotels in walkable neighborhoods where you'll have plenty to do and explore. As for our wedding weekend, we have secured full use of the grounds at a country hotel called Hotel Zur Linde in Wildenbruch where we will celebrate Friday-Sunday. The hotel has modern and spacious rooms available for booking via their website at www.linde-wildenbruch/de. Instructions for booking to release room holds at Hotel Zur Linde: Email info@linde-wildenbruch.de Subject line: Gawrych-Ketzel Wedding (29-30 Aug) Include: 1. What is the dress code for the weekend?

Given August can bring either cooler/autumnal weather or full summer sunshine, please monitor the weather before your travels so you can plan accordingly. Layers are always recommended, especially for fire-side hangs in the evening. Please see additional attire guidance in the "Schedule" tab.

Will all meals be included in our weekend stay?

Answer

YES! We have you covered for all meals and beverage needs over the weekend. We are so excited to partner with a local organic business on a custom menu featuring family-style open fire cooking for the reception dinner and decadent brunches, snacks, and sweets throughout the weekend.
