بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ In a classic case of New York City serendipity, Marty and Negeena's romance was written in the stars, or rather, on adjacent apartment doors. As fate would have it, of the 55 buildings in Stuytown, theirs stood side by side—a twist that even Negeena's romantic heart couldn't resist. When the pandemic hit, Marty and Negeena had each other, Kiwi, and their closest friends. From days spent working from home together to cozy dinners, their bond only grew stronger, culminating in an "official" status on August 23, 2020. With Marty teaching Negeena patience and gratitude (and occasional reminders of life's wonders) and Negeena imparting the wisdom of seizing romantic moments (and an undeniable love for cats), their love story evolved into a proposal and Nikkah on August 23, 2022. It marked the beginning of a lifetime filled with laughter and endless shared moments. Loving someone continually is like reading your favorite book again, but each time finding a different line that hits deep and makes you think about something you never realized before. You read that book again and again, knowing you’ll always find something new to love.
