On the anniversary of when we first started dating, we planned a week-long trip to the Dominican Republic. On the third day of our trip, Tommy planned a photoshoot on Macao Beach. I was very nervous about this shoot because we had never done anything like this before. However, Tommy had told me months before our trip that he wanted to do a photoshoot so we could always remember the trip. I didn't think too much of this because Tommy typically tries to get me to do one thing outside my comfort zone at least once a day. When we arrived at our destination to have our photos taken, Tommy said that he had one more surprise... horseback riding. I was so nervous, not only about the horseback riding but riding along the beach! As you can imagine, I had no idea that horseback riding was going to end with him down on one knee! My heart dropped. I was in complete shock. I took a good look around me because I wanted to soak everything in: my new fiance, the scenery, the smell of the beach, EVERYTHING! Of course, I said "YES," and really, the rest is history! See you in Cali!!
