2021

We said "I do", but it was missing... you.

On March 15th, 2020, we made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding that was only weeks away. Nothing could have prepared any of us for the months that would follow. As our new date grew closer, it became clear that it was not yet safe for our dearest friends and family to gather. The safety of those closest to us was our top priority. We were faced again with the decision to postpone further. We were determined to make our commitment to our love story through any hurdles. This past summer, Jeff and I privately traveled to Key West, Florida. This is a place close to our hearts and one of the first trips we had ever taken together. A place that exudes love, celebration, and unity. We were married on August 6th, 2020 in a private ceremony on Smather's Beach. The day was more special than I could possibly write into words. We spent the next few days feeling extremely grateful to have been able to travel and topped off our "honeymoon" with a 14 day quarantine together back home in Vernon, CT. On June 25th, 2021, we plan to renew our vows to each other and share them publicly with our friends and family for the very first time. Then, FINALLY, celebrate with each of you the exact same way we planned to do so on April 18th, 2020. We are optimistic that we will be able to move ahead with this date as planned but have created this website for you to easily check for any updates or adjustments we may need to make in order to make this day happen.
