Rachel & Michael

Wedding Party

Liz Zadro Weber

Maid of Honor

Cousin & Partner in Crime. With only 10 months between us, Liz and I have a bond closer to sisters than cousins. She took years of me bossing her around with new choreography to the likes of Britney Spears & Christina Aguilera. My favorite weekends were (and still are) going down to Huntington Beach for the annual Boat Parade. Liz is successful, smart, driven, and has the creative gene that I most definitely did not get. She is always down for a Taco/Margarita party and always knows how to make me laugh when I'm taking life too seriously. She is my sounding board, confidant and the only one who will get Taco Bell for breakfast with me. Most recent favorite memory: Being on a boat in Brač together in Croatia & Weekend in Chicago just the 2 of us for Liz's 30th birthday!

Maggie Susac

Bridesmaid

Cousin & Fitness Guru. Thankfully my cousin Andrew has excellent taste and picked someone who was meant to be in our family all along. Thank goodness she could tell I knew Michael was special when I asked if I could bring "this guy I really like" to her wedding 1 month after meeting him and she said yes! Maggie is always there for me when I need someone to listen without judgement and fills my belly with the most delicious baked goods. Did I mention she is also a retired star college athlete and now my favorite Orange Theory Fitness coach! Most recent favorite memory: When Maggie spent the weekend in SF going with me to try on wedding dresses!

Adriana Čulin

Bridesmaid

Cousin & Bilingual Beauty. Ana and I were together 24/7 as we played together at our grandparents' house. She moved to Croatia when I was 7 years old. Over the years we have remained close and my fondest memory is going to Croatia for the first time after my freshman year in college. Ana took me under her wing and showed me around Europe. We made our way through Italy with her talented language skills- she speaks English, Croatian, and Italian! We had the summer of a lifetime traveling around Croatia and Italy. I am so excited that her and her husband are making the trip to the US to celebrate with us! Most recent favorite memory: Experiencing a true Croatian wedding (goats and all) as we watched her marry the love of her life.

Ivana Balic

Bridesmaid

Cousin & Croatian Tour Guide. Ivana and I grew up together until she moved to Croatia with her sister Ana. However, the distance has not gotten in the way of us growing up together from afar. With many many trips back to the USA, summers spent at my house, and more recently, my trips to Croatia, we have maintained that strong bond that we had when she moved away. She is always up for an adventure and is the life of the party. All these years later, I haven't convinced her to move back to the US, but that doesn't mean I haven't stopped trying! Most recent favorite memory: Going to Plitvice Lakes in Croatia!

Natalia Falchi

Bridesmaid

Cousin & Travel Expert. Natalia and I often get mistaken for being sisters, not cousins. She has traveled all over the world and is currently attending LMU, recently joining the same sorority I was in while at Cal Poly. Natalia is motivated, driven and quite the fashionista. She is the selfie queen of the family, and takes the ridicule from the cousins like a champ! I love when Natalia comes to SF for the day and we spend hours strolling down Chestnut Street, shopping the day away and of course, having lunch at Super Duper Burgers! Most recent favorite memory: Spending a week together in Croatia for the first time!

Sophia Susac

Bridesmaid

Cousin & Actress Extraordinaire. Sophia was the first cousin born in "generation 2" of our cousins. She was the little sister I always wanted. She currently attends Stanford, officially making her the smartest of all of us. She had the iPhone movie perfected before it was popular, giving us plenty of content from when we were younger to sit down and watch together, often ending in tears of laughter. Sophia is a star synchronized swimmer and so creative with everything she does! Most recent favorite memory: Watching old home videos that Sophia made with all of our cousins! TIMEX!

Patty Jeske

Bridesmaid

Future Sister & Workout Buddy. Patty is Michael's twin sister and has become one of my closest friends. Like her brother, she has the kindest heart, is always so thoughtful, and is a great listener. She is always up for an early morning workout class or gym session. I have loved getting to know Patty over the years as we explore downtown Milwaukee, visit the cutest coffee shops, and of course go wine tasting at Three Cellars. She has made me feel like part of the Martis family from the moment I met her and I feel like we are already sisters! Most recent favorite memory: Spending a week in the Dominican Republic together for her wedding!

Sarah Martis

Bridesmaid

Future SIL & MomBoss. Sarah is the definition of Supermom. She is a full time Executive and mom and is amazing at both. She has made me feel so welcome from the first time I met her and is one of the best cooks I know. I love going to her house and being her wine-drinking assistant in the kitchen and reaping the benefits of the amazing meal she makes. Sarah is also my #1 game partner. I actually refuse to play with anyone else. Why you ask? Because we crush the competition (Michael & Joe Martis) and enjoy every second of it. Most recent favorite memory: Family vacation in Florida that Sarah planned!

Tessa Angell

Bridesmaid

College Bestie & Comic. My sweet T. Tessa and I have a bond that goes back to Freshman year of college. Being a year older than me, she took me under her wing and showed me the best 4 years. Post college, she was my landing pad for all San Francisco trips. Some of my best memories, laughs, and moments that shall never be shared almost always involve Tessa. She is beyond successful at work, prioritizes her friends and family, and is always there for you when you need advice or just someone to listen. Most recent favorite memory: Standing next to her on her wedding day, watching her marry the love of her life!

Jen Kleven

Bridesmaid

High School Bestie and Best Dancer I Know. Jen can walk into a room of strangers and instantly make everyone her friend. She has the best dance moves and is the most quick witted friend I have. Jen always makes time for her friends - even in recent years when it's been more difficult with us living in different cities. She was one of my first high school friends and my college roommate and holds most of my secrets. Most recent favorite memory: Celebrating Jen's engagement with all her friends and family in Los Gatos.

Kate Campbell

Bridesmaid

College Bestie & Hostess Extraordinaire. Kate was the very first person I ever met at Cal Poly. We met each other moving into the dorms, as we found out our rooms were right next to each other. We were inseparable from that moment on. Kate has always been the "hostess with the mostess", even in our tiny dorm rooms. From living together in college to being blocks away in San Francisco, Kate always hosted the most amazing dinner parties, making sure everyone's belly's are filled with the best food and of course plenty of wine. She is the best mom to her puppy Duke and new sweet baby boy Chase! Most recent favorite memory: Celebrating Baby Campbell at Kate's baby shower!

Sydney Shedd

Bridesmaid

College Bestie & Cal Poly Recruit. I met Syd when I was a senior in high school visiting Jen at Cal Poly. They became fast college friends and after 1 weekend, I knew why Jen loved Syd so much. She was so welcoming and kind from the moment I met her, even letting me bunk up with her one of the nights. The next few years were filled with fun college memories, weekend trips, and lots of summer fun - leading to us living together my last year of college. She was one of the first people to hear about "Monday Mike". I am so grateful to have Syd as part of our big day! Most recent favorite memory: Spending the weekend in Orange County for Syd's birthday, getting countless hours with Baby Cal, spoiled by Chauncey, and lots of quality girl time!

Joe Martis

Best Man

Big brother & Best Friend - Joe is my best friend and has always been there for me every step of the way. He's my role model and the one I've always looked up to. Whatever Joe did, that's what i wanted to do: football, golf, powerlifting... you name it, I wanted to be just like him. From our bunk bed days and nightly Simpon's shows.. to watching him raise his beautiful young family, we've always stayed extremely close. When we're together we never miss a chance to get out on the golf course, hit the gym, or just catch up and hang out as family. He's always been the more daring one of the family so don't be surprised if you see a giant banana running around the wedding venue. Most recent favorite memory: Our epic Black Friday beer haul & also watching the old dog squat over 700 lbs!

Andrew Fischer

Groomsman

Lifelong friend & Sports Expert - A guy who can charm the socks off of anyone with his great smile and funny antics, Andy is one of a kind. We met back in grade school playing "courtball" in the local neighborhood and an instant friendship was born to last a lifetime. From little league, to "ma-strokin" golf, and watching Wisconsin sports we've always shared similar passions. Hard to believe with his svelte cross fit figure, but Andy has one of the biggest sweet tooth that I know - I don't know a time he's said no to an oreo snowstorm and there's always time for some "beep." Most recent favorite memory: Christmas visit with the Fischer family at their new home in Wisconsin and getting to meet his newest little monster. Mind you, number three is on the way!

Steve Kent

Groomsman

High School Best Bud, Music Guru & Sports Aficionado - Sven Libeck, Silly Bear, Kenty, Sunshine.. the nicknames go on and on for one of the most lovable guys you will ever meet. Steve was by far the smartest guy among our group of friends in high school and has always had an expansively sharp ear for good music. He was the first to show me an artist named Eminem on thing call Napster. Steve, Andy, and I lived together in Milwaukee for almost a year after college before the dream had to die and I moved out to SF. He's since visited numerous times and we always have a blast just catching up and grabbing a few cold ones. Most recent favorite memory: Going to the Kent palace in Wisconsin and meeting the newest little Kent member, Lincoln.

Dominic Cusatis

Groomsman

High School Best Bud & Brother From Another Mother - Dominic (or Dino as he is commonly known) is the nicest, kindest, and most genuine guy that I know. Dino and my twin sister, Patty, were voted "Most Compassionate" in HS and his character hasn't changed one bit. We instantly became friends the summer before frosh football and haven't looked back since. It started with our daily bike rides to the gym, nightly Survivor fix, and partying it up at the Cusatis household. Dino has always been an incredibly hard worker and can fix anything you put in front of him. He has always put in long and hard hours but somehow ALWAYS finds time for his friends. Most recent favorite memory: The call where he told me him and his wife are pregnant! Congrats you guys!

Rob Krauss

Groomsman

High School Best Bud & Adventure Seeker - Rob is the most daring and adventurous friend that I have by far. I can go on and on about our stories from the past (Mercer kayak downpour / the log, Fordyce Creek, Boarding whiteouts) and I'm so thankful to have that friend to push me the extra mile. Rob pioneered our annual "Centennial" trip - where we meet up to hit the slopes for a week, which is always one of our favorite weeks of the year. When he's not in extreme mode, Rob is king of surprises! Whether its flying out an old friend and hiding them in the sand at the beach or just sending a creative video to us - he always knows how to keep his inner circle happy. Most recent favorite memory: Visiting Rob and Katie in Marina del Rey and finding out Katie was pregnant!

Zach Switlick

Groomsman

College Best Friend & Card Shark - Switty and I met on the first day of school and were roommates throughout the rest of college, which says it all. From all night Texas Hold 'Em tournaments, outdoor Badger parties, and Spring Break trips to PCB - we did it all together. Zach doesn't have the word "no" in his vocabulary and will always make time for his friends. Whether its making a trip home and having to drive hours to meet up or flying across country last minute to make a birthday party, he always finds a way. Make sure you catch him for some advice on blackjack too - he has an insatiable appetite for risk and should be banned from most casinos. Most recent favorite memory: Standing up in his wedding on his big day!

Kyle Wise

Groomsman

College Best Friend & General of the O-Unit - Kyle and I met our Sophomore year of college right before our big trip down to PCB. Everyone of us drove from WI except the General, because well, he's the General. Kyle and I clicked right away over our taste in music, sports, and Dixon. Kyle always keeps me up on what's fresh from hotnewhiphop.com but updates have been less frequent since he's been so busy traveling the world (Worldwide-Wise). That hasn't stopped us from making sure we find time to get in an annual ski or golf trip though. Oh, by the way ladies - he's single so no need to to swipe right - just wink at him for a dance! Most recent favorite memory: Shredding the nar-nar up in Tahoe during whiteout conditions!

Mark McEvoy

Groomsman

SF Best Friend & Renaissance Man - Mark was my very first friend when I moved to SF over 11 years ago. I asked him on a man date to the London Horse Deli and his roommates never let him hear the end of it. Best decision I could have done though because Mark and I hit it off. Mark and I have been fortunate enough to travel to over 10+ countries together and we've had some of the best memories imaginable. From all nighters at Oktoberfest, exploring the Great Barrier Reef, to wearing Longyi's in Myanmar - we've had a good spin of the globe. Mark is the most loyal guy I know too. When he gives you his word on something you can take it to the bank and that is very valuable to me. Most recent favorite memory: Niners/Packers MNF Game in Lambeau Field - it was Frozen Tundra style too!

Mike Flores

Groomsman

SF Best Friend & The Biz Exec You Wish You Had - Mike and I met through friends in a kickball league in SF about 9 years ago and we instantly connected. We are both huge sports fans and incredibly passionate about golf. We've had many epic duals on the links over the years, which is always over a lunch-money-$20, that tends to end up in Mike's pocket by the end of the round. We've had some amazing adventures over the years - some to name a few: Yosemite, Vegas, Big Sur, the Gorge. Mike is the most well rounded and solid friends I have. He's had an incredibly successful business career leading a sales team that was bought out by Zillow and is now working on his next project. Most recent favorite memory: Getting to meet Mike and Ashley's newly born little angel on Mike's birthday!

Adam Olsen

Groomsman

SF Best Friend & Dave Matthews Groupie - Adam and I met in SF through the same link of friends that Mike and I did. We instantly had the Midwest connection since Adam is from Nebraska and I, Wisconsin. We spent many a days bellied up at the local Greens Sports bar or Final Final dive bar while Huskers fans go crazy yelling, "Go Big Red!" When we're not watching CFB, we've had some pretty epic trips to the Gorge to catch weekend sets of Dave Matthews ( I think Adam has seen over 50 shows). Adam and I have also had the fortune of travelling to over 10+ countries as well. Spicy Crab night in Singapore, Portugal Port Tasting, Croatian Wedding craziness just to name a few. Most recent favorite memory: When Al Gore stole the internet from us!

Nick Norris

Groomsman

Rachie's Brother & My Brother To-Be - Nick and I met at his cousins Andrews wedding in 2015 and oh boy, was I in for an awakening! Nick put on a performance that would make your toes curl - ask for the video replay if you see him at our wedding. It was right then though that I knew that Nick and I would click because he is the life of the party and is always making sure that those around him are having fun and smiling. Nick is an incredibly smart guy who graduated from Washington and is now working on his MBA. Every time I go down to visit him in Huntington Beach, we can whisk the day away just the 2 of us (and Mark of course) and I couldn't be luckier to have such a well rounded and dashing new brother. Most recent favorite memory: Our 3 day golf trip to Bandon Dunes!

Eric Jeske

Groomsman

My Brother-In-Law & Adventure Seeker - Eric and I met back when Patty and him started dating in 2014. I knew right from that start that I was truly going to like Eric because of the way that my sister spoke about him. When I saw it first hand I could tell that he treated her like a princess and that meant the world to me. Eric & I hit it off over a love for sports, except for the fact that he is a huge Chicago Bears fan (and yes, he's from Wisconsin). But he takes us giving him shit so well & its a true testament to how great his character really is. I greatly admire how selfless he is too. He often goes to help out around my parents house without ever mentioning a word. He's been such an amazing addition to our family! Most recent favorite memory: Bring part of your wedding!

Kevin Stark

Usher

HS & College Best Friends & All American Guy - Kevin and I met back in HS but our friendship really flourished in college. I am a year older than Kevin and always have felt like his big brother since I was always a little brother myself. Stark and I just know how to have fun together and there is nobody that can talk smack like Kevin. Most would be appalled at our text threads but that just always how we've understood each other. We've had many many good and deep conversations over the years and when I moved away Kev was one of the first people to call and check in on how things were going. We'll always be there for each other no matter the time or distance we spend apart. Startis Album / Startis Creek baby! Most recent favorite memory: Spending one-on-one time catching up in Wisco!

Jason Verheyen

Usher

College Best Friend & Bizness Man - Jason and I met on our first day of college and have kept that friendship ever since. He coined the term tripod for Zach, Jason and myself because we were the inseparable 3-man wolfpack our Freshman year (damn you, Matt Hein) no matter where we went or what we did we were always together. Jason was the first friend to come out and visit me when I moved away from Wisconsin. Having friends like that who pioneered trips out made moving away so much easier because home never felt so far away. We've had some epic trips in the past: Hi-yahhhh Bar None Guy, Tailgating for Brewers/Giants, Upside down Saki Bombing Night w/ our shoes disappearing.. Most recent favorite memory: Switty's Wedding and catching up with a few too many Uncle Kessy's!
