Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available for the ceremony across the street from St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church. However, reception parking will NOT be available at The Field Museum or Soldier Field. Shuttle service will be provided to and from host hotels to both the ceremony and reception. Check the travel and transportation section the week of the wedding for a detailed shuttle schedule.

I am staying elsewhere in the city, can I still utilize the shuttle services?

Answer

Yes. Guests can utilize shuttles from either host hotel. 3:15 - Ceremony shuttles depart 5:00 - Reception shuttles depart 10:00 - 12:00 - Shuttles return to host hotels

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black-Tie Optional: Wear floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, tuxes with black neckties/bowties or dark suits.

Will exhibits be open for viewing during the reception?

Answer

Yes. Guests are welcomed and encouraged to explore the many exciting exhibits that The Field Museum has to offer, including the legendary T-Rex, Sue.
