Our love story began in Fredericksburg, Virginia back in 2015. Faith had worked at Target for a couple of years when Bradley was hired as a baker there. From the very beginning, Faith was drawn to Bradley’s kindness and humor–not to mention he was easy on the eyes! Eventually, she found herself going out of her way to mingle in the bakery and exchange flirtatious banter with the new employee. After a few months of getting to know each other, using work as an excuse to spend time together, Bradley asked Faith out on a date at Frederickburg’s famous Carl’s Ice Cream. While an obvious connection was growing, Faith wasn't yet ready for a relationship, so Bradley settled into the “friend zone.” Over the next year, they became fast friends. And while they spent lots of time together in the same circle of friends, romantic feelings for each other began to creep in as well. Finally, on Memorial Day weekend of 2017, Bradley and Faith’s true feelings for one another came to a head with an unexpected kiss. Faith was extremely embarrassed and confused at the dynamic change between her and her best friend, so she took the only obvious route–she completely ignored him for weeks. Bradley, enthusiastic about the development and eager to understand where Faith stood, asked her to meet up and talk about what happened. That conversation transformed a deep friendship into a wonderful dating relationship. Over the next few years, Faith and Brad’s connection only became stronger as they grew personally and relationally. Their goofy mannerisms and love for exploration filled their relationship with endless dancing, adventures, laughter, and family. On November 15, 2020, while Faith was visiting her sister Abby in Reno, Nevada, Bradley flew out and surprised her at Lake Tahoe on the most beautiful day imaginable and proposed as the sun was setting. Faith and Bradley are so excited to start the next chapter of their journey and can’t wait to celebrate their marriage on May 14, 2021!
