As all great love stories begin these days, we met on Hinge. Mike commented on one of my post-Disney run photos, creating an instant connection; a love of Disney and running. After many text conversations, he asked me on a first date to the Senators game. Neither of us really remember if the Senators won or lost that day. But we do remember making laps around the stadium as we talked through the night, only to go to our seats for the fireworks. Then, the most romantic thing happened. We got caught in the rain as he walked me across the bridge back to my car. I described it to all my coworkers on Monday morning as the perfect first date.

It was the two-year anniversary of our first date. More to come! (Started writing one minute before I was due into a meeting) We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
