I started to figure things out a week or so before it happened. My parents were coming into town for a cruise and Zach began acting very unusual. Side note, if you have a surprise for someone do not tell Zach he gets too excited about and will tell. A few days before their arrival, Zach was sitting on the couch and announced to the doggies and me that we need to go to fancy dinner at the Polynesian Resort (near Magic Kingdom) the night after cruise. It was random but I said okay and booked the dinner reservations. Minutes later I handed him his phone because its was ringing away on the counter. He immediately became panicked that I had his phone. At this point, I knew something was going on and saw it was my mom who was texting him. When my parents arrived in town, my mom saw the reservation on the kitchen calendar and tells me we need to dress up for the dinner. For those of you who do not know my mom, Momma Bear is not a "dresser upper;" comfort is key. I became increasingly more suspicious at this point. Now we come to the night, as I am getting ready for dinner Zach is more active than usual and I notice my camera, which was out on the table downloading photos from the cruise, has disappeared. We head to dinner and Zach is very quiet the whole meal and anyone who knows him know he's not quiet even when he's sleeping. As the MK fireworks begin, we finish dinner and he insist we go to the farthest part of the beach to watch them. We begin walking on to the beach to find a good spot to watch the show and from the corner of my eye I see camera flashes behind me. As I turned to figure out what in the world was going on, Zach grabs my hand and turns me toward him as he got down on one knee. What did he say one may ask? I am certain it was something very sweet but I could not hear him over my crying, the background music, and fireworks. As we walked back to my parents, who were still taking pictures of us, he turns to me and says "You did say yes, right!?"
