Yes, semi-formal. For men, suits are welcome and we suggest women wear floor-length or midi dresses. We would love for you to dress up, but please wear whatever you are comfortable in!
Our ceremony will begin at 4:00pm. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early by 3:45pm. Please see below for shuttle & parking info!
Yes, there is a parking lot next to the clubhouse. There will also be a golf cart shuttle for guests who need assistance.
Yes! The trolley will be picking up guests from the Andell Inn (300 Farm Lake View, Kiawah Island, SC 29455) & Seabrook Island Real Estate (1002 Landfall Way Seabrook Island, SC 29455) at around 2:45 pm. The ceremony starts at 4:00pm- if you arrive early and have an amenity card, you can grab a drink at Pelicans Nest! Following the reception, the trolley will transport guests to the after-party. Following the after-party, there will be transportation back to the original pickup spots.
The ceremony will take place outdoors at the Seabrook Ocean Terrace. The reception will be mainly indoor with the option to go outdoors if you please. The reception will take place across the street from the Ocean Terrace, at the main Clubhouse.
Amenity cards are required on the island to access the clubhouse amenties (food, pools, etc). If you are getting a rental on Seabrook Island, they usually will come with an amenity card. Please check with your rental company. If your rental does not come with a card, you can get a card here: https://www.seabrookexclusives.com/seabrook-island-amenities/
We are only able to accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be detailed there.
While we love your little ones, we've decided to host an adult-only wedding celebration with a few exceptions. We appreciate your understanding!

There are very limited ride-share services available on the island. We highly recommend renting a car or booking transportation (such as golf carts) ahead of time. Golf Cart Rentals can be found here- https://lightningbugzrentals.com/
Gates passes will be available for everyone starting Friday-Sunday. Please pull up to the left lane and let them know you are here for the Martinez-Porter wedding. If you are coming before Friday, you will need to get a gate pass from your rental.
