Where will the Ceremony take place?

Answer

The event will take place at two different backyards within the cul-de-sac. The ceremony beginning at 4pm will be held at the Martinez home followed by Cocktail Hour hosted at the Montalvo home across the street. The reception will take place once again at the Martinez home. The address along with the time to arrive can be found on our Schedule Page!

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

Guests should arrive by 3:30pm as the Ceremony will begin at 4:00. As mentioned on the home page, if you will be arriving late, we ask that you wait outside the ceremony space until it is time for guests to move to the Cocktail Hour location.

Are there recommended hotels nearby?

Answer

We linked a Best Western on our travel page as it is the closest hotel to the Martinez home. Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Please note that our wedding will be held in a backyard in a residential neighborhood. Guests may need to walk a short distance (one or two streets) from parking areas to reach the venue. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and allowing a few extra minutes to arrive on time.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our celebration will be semi-formal — think polished but comfortable! Skip sneakers during the ceremony and cocktail hour (save them for the dance floor!). Please refrain from wearing denim or rubber flip-flops. Out of respect for the bride, we ask that no white attire be worn. White accessories such as shoes or handbags are perfectly acceptable. Black attire is welcome. Guests are not required to dress within the wedding color palette; however, those who wish to coordinate may consider deep, earthy hues such as olive or moss green, or rich berry tones like cranberry, mulberry, plum, or wine red.

Are children allowed at the ceremony or reception?

Answer

This will be an 18+ evening, so leave the little ones with a trusted babysitter!

Can guests take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Phones on silent are welcome during the ceremony. We only ask that you be respectful of other guests and the photographer while taking your photo or video. In other words, check your surroundings to make sure you won't be in someone else's shot!

Yes, as well as gluten free!
