What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our venue will welcome guests at 5pm. Please plan to arrive at that time so you can get settled and find your seat before the ceremony.

Is there a dress code?

Semi-formal attire is recommended, but not required! Please wear whatever you are comfortable in.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Street parking is available near our venue. That said, we would generally recommend guests take an Uber or taxi for convenience.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Please check the forecast and bring a jacket in case it is chilly or raining. We’ll have our fingers crossed for a warm, sunny day! However, in early May, it is likely the weather will be in the 50s or 60s.

Does the boat go anywhere?

Answer

No! The MV Skansonia is a retired ferry boat that is now permanently docked on Lake Union. You are welcome to come and go any time. It does not sail, and you should not feel the waves.

Do you have a registry?

No, we do not. We are excited to celebrate our special day with you! No gifts are expected.
