Danny first met Rose in September 2022 during Labor Day weekend. Rose's best friend, Chrissy, and Danny's best friend, Brendan, have vacation homes next to each other on the Colorado river. After getting to know Danny, Chrissy thought he would be perfect for Rose. Chrissy called Rose and told her, "I just met your future husband, you have to drive out here!" Brendan and the boys gave Chrissy a hard time and bet her that Rose would never drive out just to meet Danny. Well- she did!  To this day, Brendan still owes Chrissy $20 for losing the bet. Danny and Rose did long distance for some time until they were finally able to join their lives together, and the rest is history!
