Cartagena is the nearest big city to Tierra Bomba island therefore you will want to fly into that airport. Getting from Cartagena to Tierra Bomba: The only way to get to the island is by boat. The boats are near the hospital in Castillogrande. To get there, you can take any bus marked “Castillogrande” or “Bocagrande” because the hospital is at the intersection of the two neighborhoods. It is a 10-15 minute boat ride so there's no time to get seasick. The hotel will pick up guests at arranged times, around noon and 4 pm. Exact times TBD.
