Caitlin met Julie during their freshmen year at Rowan University. While they did not room together in the beginning, they lived next door and always seemed to gravitate towards each other. When they lived together during their junior and senior year, it was especially helpful while they were both on their way to become teachers. Caitlin and Julie have always bonded over their love for Reese’s shapes, SVU marathons, margaritas, and abbreviations. They have done so much together through the years and spent many nights talking, laughing, and crying about all of life’s joys and struggles. Caitlin couldn’t think of anyone else she would rather have as her Matron of Honor.

Thomas Turon

Best Man

Tommy is Mike’s cousin on his mom’s side. They share a bond that is hard to break. To some they might be just full of off color jokes & movie quotes but there is a deeper connection. Tommy and Mike went to elementary, middle, high school and some college while working at the pool and rink together. They are more than just cousins, they are friends, who ultimately became brothers. Through every step of Mike’s life, he can place Tommy right in the middle of it all. Day trips to Keansburg, Six Flags, weekends Upstate, and late night aimless drives, they were inseparable. Through the worst time in Mike’s life, Tommy was there for him. Now, Mike wants Tommy to stand right beside him during the most joyous time in his life when he marries the love of his life.

Jaclyn Mason

Jackie is Caitlin’s cousin on her dad’s side of the family. Even though she lives in Florida and Caitlin in Jersey, it has not stopped their relationship from growing as they got older. Caitlin has always looked up to Jackie as a sister and enjoys spending time with her in person or even through FaceTime. Whenever Caitlin and Jackie get together, the laughs never stop. Reminiscing about childhood memories or even about the latest drunken shenanigans, they never miss a beat. Jackie and Caitlin love that they can 100% be themselves in front of each other. Through the heartache, laughing til crying moments, and even the gross things that nobody would ever share with someone else, they have done it all. Caitlin is so excited that Jackie is going to be standing up with her on this special day.

Erik Turon

Erik is Mike’s cousin on his mom’s side. From the moment Erik was born, he and Mike were best friends. They have a special relationship not too many can understand, but they do, and it’s good enough for them. They might not always agree on things and have fought more times than they can count. In the end, they remember that the little things don’t matter and they will always be there for each other when it matters. Because of that bond, Mike could not get married without Erik being by his side. Not just because of moral support, but for the guidance and confidence Erik has given Mike for his entire life.

Nona Martin

Nona is Caitlin’s sister in law who married her brother George. George and Mike are best friends but it has been the running joke that Nona has known EVERYTHING before he did. Nona is great at keeping secrets and even knew about the proposal before anyone else did! Nona and Caitlin share a bond over their extreme picky eating (gross seafood, but shrimp is sometimes okay right?), the Philadelphia Eagles, and boy bands. Caitlin can’t wait to bounce wedding design ideas off of Nona during this whole planning process.

George Martin

George is one of Mike’s best friends and Cait’s older brother. Mike hated George at first & it wasn’t until George, Erik and Mike worked together in close quarters that Mike realized that he and George were similar & had to be friends. Their friendship not only made them realize their appreciation for Mad Libs but opened a door to Mike and Cait finding each other in love. Mike was worried about telling George that he and Cait were dating. Mike buttered up George with a few beers, a fantasy football trophy, and revealed a secret that everyone in their lives knew. While shocked, George was happy that Mike and Cait found happiness with each other. Mike is ecstatic that he can continue to share a lifetime of laughs and memories with George not only as friends, but as brothers-in-law.

Jennifer Rota

Jen and Caitlin are cousins on their mom’s side. Jen and Caitlin LOVE taking selfies together at every family gathering and you can usually find them congregating in the kitchen with the Aunts. Caitlin and Jen have always been super close and they feel like sisters. They can talk about anything with each other and love being in each other’s company. Caitlin can’t wait to party and drink all the wine with Jen.

Paul Kuleska

Paul and Mike met in sophomore year English class. They were friendly, but it wasn’t until the summer when they became lifeguards that their friendship became solid. They got in to things that teenage friends got in to, and went on to have experiences that no one else could experience. They bonded over tech, cars and their appreciation for the occasional adult beverage. While some friendships seems to disintegrate after high school, theirs only got stronger. They have always been able to count on each other through thick and thin, the good and the bad, and neither would have it any other way. Mike was a part of Paul’s wedding as a groomsman, and now Mike is excited that he can return the favor and have one of his dearest friends stand with him on his wedding day.

Kerry Rota

Kerry and Caitlin are cousins on their moms’ side. Caitlin has always viewed Kerry as a younger sister and loves spending time with her. Whenever they get together, they make the greatest memories, especially down in LBI with all of the family (HUD or CHEGG anyone?!). Caitlin is so excited to not only have Kerry stand with her during her wedding but also be able to plan both of their weddings together!

Ryan Helfrich

Mike met Ryan in 1995 while living across the street from each other. Mike had no friends, saw a group of kids playing street hockey and wanted to join their game. Mike had no equipment & approached the group. Ryan loaned him a stick and welcomed Mike with open arms. Ryan’s good heart is a product of his mother Denise, who was one of the all-time great human’s this earth has ever known. The summer of 1995 was spent playing street hockey, eating double stuffed Oreos, and trying to beat River City Ransom on Nintendo. Ryan is Mike’s oldest friend, but Mike sees him more as a family member. Mike couldn’t imagine getting married without his friend of nearly 3 decades standing and supporting him, just like he has always done.

Kimberly Bergels

Kim and Caitlin met during Julie’s bachelorette party in OCMD. They became instant friends and do everything together, literally. Even though they live far away from each other, they still manage to see each other monthly and talk all day, everyday (thank goodness for unlimited data). Kim always has the best memes and gifs to share and will keep you laughing for hours. She is that friend who knows exactly the right thing to say during the worst moments and keeps everyone’s spirits up at all times. Caitlin can’t wait to make new memories with Kim during all of the wedding festivities.

Brian Ray

Groomsman

Mike met Brian through Brian’s older sister Amanda. Mike took to Brian like the little brother he never had but always wanted. Mike eventually convinced Brian to work at the pool and soon he was more than just “Amanda’s little brother.” Mike helped Brian as much as he could when dealing with a new college location or where he should coach lacrosse next. When Mike’s father died in 2016, Brian was right by his side to help him cope and deal in that difficult time and was the shoulder to cry on whenever he needed. Without Brian, Mike doesn’t know if he would have been able to deal with life’s curveball and he is so happy he had his little brother in his corner. These two have a special bond and Mike knows he could not get married without Brian standing with him on this special day.

Gina Crowell

Caitlin met Gina while planning and being bridesmaids in Julie’s wedding. Caitlin was drawn to Gina because of her wittiness as well as her big heart. Gina has always been around for Caitlin during late night cry sessions as well as drunken nights in Philly. Caitlin can’t wait to celebrate this time with Gina and couldn’t picture anyone else standing next to her.

Michael Seeburger

Groomsman

Seeburger and Mike met while lifeguarding and have been friends for 15 years. To put it kindly, Seeburger hated Mike during those early years. Mike was immature (shocking) and they butted heads, a lot. It took some offseason work at the ice skating rink and an enjoyment of backyard wresting for the two to become close. Seeburger took Mike under his wing and became the older brother Mike never had. Seeburger raised the younger Mike, teaching him about life, proper ways to consume alcohol and helped guide him to become an adult. Words truly cannot explain the reverence Mike has for Seeburger and Mike can never fully repay Seeburger for everything he has done for him during their friendship.

Alyssa Turon

Caitlin met Alyssa after she started dating Mike. Alyssa is married to the Best Man, Mike’s cousin Tommy. The first day they met, they knew they found a match in each other and their bond would be unbroken. Running through the streets of NYC looking for chocolate, Caitlin and Alyssa left the boys behind and were eventually found drinking beers inside a 7-11 store. Caitlin can’t wait to continue their friendship and to have more crazy drinking memories with Alyssa.

Brian Martin

Brian is Cait’s younger brother (and George’s too). Brian is by far one of the funniest people Mike knows and has always appreciated his brand of humor. They share an appreciation for Budweiser and stupid jokes and will always argue over Android vs Apple. Brian is a good soul who knows what’s important in life and Mike couldn’t be happier than to have him as his future brother-in-law.

Megan and Caitlin met many years ago when Megan started dating Caitlin's brother, Brian. Caitlin and Megan became fast friends and were constantly doing things together. They went on many road trips and vacations and experienced many of life's ups and downs along the way. Brian proposed to Megan in November of 2019 and Caitlin knew she wanted her newest sister in law to be part of her special day. Caitlin can't wait to do some more weird dance moves with Megan while partying the night away.
