What about covid?

Covid is an ever changing dynamic. At this time, we are asking guests to wear masks to the event. They will be provided if you do not have one when you arrive. As always, please practice proper sanitation at all times. Although we will miss you dearly, if you are not feeling well, we ask that you please stay home.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held indoors at the Sheraton. The exact room floors will be displayed at the hotel upon arrival.

Will there be a virtual option to view the ceremony & reception online?

Answer

YES! Due to Covid, we will offer a live stream of the ceremony and a few parts of the reception for those who cannot attend in person. It will be streamed via YouTube.

What will the weather be like in March?

Answer

Weather in New Orleans can be very unpredictable. In March, it is usually between 55-74 degrees. Please monitor weather trends closer to the time for the most accurate information.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, little black dresses etc., and the gents should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Our theme is 'spring time', so feel free to dress in spring like colors, if you choose!

What is the timeline for the day?

Answer

The ceremony will start in the evening and is 1 hour long. It will be followed by a cocktail hour, and a 4 hour reception. (This will be a late night event)!

Are children allowed to attend?

As much as we love children, this is an adults only affair.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a preset guest list and our wedding is RSVP, only. We will only be able to accommodate those explicitly listed on your invitation.

Can I take pictures/videos of the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We truly would like you to enjoy our intimate ceremony and ask that NO pictures or videos be taken during that time. We have invested a lot of money in our photographer & videographer and do not want their work to be compromised by personal photos. * For the reception, please feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you would like! Will there be an open bar?

There will be two hours of an open bar, and the rest will be a cash bar.

Why aren’t there any physical items listed on your registry?

Answer

We are beyond blessed to currently have all the material things that we want and need. We also realize that accumulating more physical things will present storage issues for us. As our wants and needs often change, we will be better off purchasing physical things ourselves once we are in the space to do so.

How will changes/updates be communicated before the wedding?

Answer

This website will be your main resource for any changes prior to the wedding date. Please also check your email, as Zola will email you regarding pertinent information or updates.
