The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 pm so we recommend arriving by 5:15 to ensure you have ample time to get situated.
There is street parking at the wedding venue, but it is limited. For this reason, we recommend carpooling, or taking a rideshare or taxi. There will be an open bar, so please do not drive if you plan on drinking.
The dress code is Semi-Formal. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. We want everyone to be comfortable and have fun, so dress to please yourself and try not to stress. Please no white dresses.
Please refer to the RSVP page to see if your children are invited. One of our favorite things about weddings is little ones running around and dancing, but our venue has a guest limit so only the children of close family and friends are invited.
The venue is an antique and architectural salvage store and has a lot of fragile merchandise. The outdoor space and reception area on the second floor are safe spots for the kids to let loose, but please keep this in mind and keep a close eye on your little ones to keep mischief to a minimum!
Check out the travel page on our website for hotel recommendations. Unfortunately, there aren't any hotels within walking distance to our wedding venue. The bride, groom, and close family are primarily staying downtown at one of the two hotels recommended on our travel page, and we'd recommend staying downtown so you can enjoy everything Chicago has to offer while you're here. If you don't want to stay downtown, we recommend staying in one of the western suburbs or near O'Hare airport. If you are driving and staying downtown, be sure to double check the parking situation as it can be quite expensive (check out the app "Spot Hero" to find discounted parking rates).
