Kathryn and Julie met in their freshman year at Duquesne University. They were both studying nursing and would go to church together on Sundays, then to the dining hall for brunch. They became roommates after graduating in 2020 and lived together in Bloomfield. Kathryn met her fiancé through Julie when Julie was in nurse practitioner school. The first time Julie met Danny was with Kathryn! Kathryn will be getting married in September 2026 and Julie is a bridesmaid.

Nikhil and Danny met downtown on the rooftop of Kauffman's. Danny noticed the Pittsburgh Penguins hat Nikhil was wearing and commented on the recent playoff loss to the New York Rangers. Nikhil was there when Danny met Julie for the first time.

Keith and Danny also met at Kauffman’s roof top. He is also a good friend of Nikhil. He introduced Danny and Julie to Trivia Tuesdays.
Christi Evans
Bridesmaid
Christi was Julie's roommate from sophomore to senior year at Duquesne University. They were sorority sisters in Alpha Omicron Pi. While in college, the two were always found together. A favorite study spot was on the second floor of Gumberg Library in the bookshelves. Getting Starbucks and Chick-fil-A was a go-to as well. Christi is getting married in September, and Julie will be a bridesmaid.

Lauren and Julie originally met at Duquesne University, but did not become close friends until nurse practitioner school at Carlow University. On the first day of class, they each recognized each other as a familiar face. Since then, their friendship has grown! Lauren and Julie like to go to Pure Barre together and get lost at Ross Park Mall.

Marissa is Danny's sister and was the first family member to know about Julie. Both she and Julie are excited to gain a sister! It has been fun spending holidays playing games and exploring New York City.
