We both swiped right on Tinder while living in Chicago 7 years ago. After a few weeks of talking, Martin picked Taylor up on her doorstep for a walk along the lakefront. Which turned into dinner, which turned into dinner next week, which has now turned into dinners forever. Fun fact- we lived on the same street when we met! In February 2024, we took a trip to Florence, Italy with some friends. Martin had the ring and Taylor had no idea. Midway through the trip, Martin suggested they go to Plaza de Michelangelo. Taylor agreed and with 2 friends in tow, we all walked to the square. After admiring the city from above, a strategically timed phone call leaving Martin and Taylor alone, Martin suggested just the two of them go up to a further viewpoint to recreate a photo from a previous trip, Martin and Taylor were headed to their proposal. Martin asked the question and Taylor said yes! We became fiancees in Florence, Italy on February 6th, 2024.

We are beyond excited to be celebrating our marriage in the city where we fell in love with our closest friends and family!
