Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Both ceremony and reception will be held at Avenir. If there’s any changes we will let you all know in a timely manner.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at Macys, Amazon, and Zola. Please search for Sayra Fernandes & Martin Lakpor.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal/Black tie attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be out doors if the weather permits, the reception will be indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

There is free parking at the location.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Please refer to the travel section of the website. We have a hotel block at three locations to accommodate our guests. The renaissance patriots place is $249 per night, the Hilton garden inn is $229 per night, and the holiday inn ranges from $90-150 per night.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

RSVP will be accessible online and will also be included with your official invitation which will be mailed out in 2021. More information to follow.

Will there be open bar?

Answer

We can’t wait to celebrate with you and host you for dinner. Unfortunately, we have chosen a cash bar, so please bring cash to enjoy bar service. There will be a sangria station throughout the night.
