We’re getting married!

While Raleigh was on missions in Brazil, she was living in the city and was missing the surf. She looked online to find the best surf spots in Brazil. Which led her to a small town named Maresias, where she and her friend Larissa would plan to stay for a week. One night in Maresias, Raleigh felt the Holy Spirit tell her to go outside even though it was nighttime, possibly dangerous and just two girls alone. The moment they stepped outside they noticed a group of people gathered in the skating plaza across the street. That was the moment she saw Martin leading worship. A few days later they began to connect. They were surprised by how many things in common like their love for God, desire to do missions, surfing and one day sail across the world (she was also surprised that he could speak English). Little did she know he would come back with her to California just as “friends”. After many conversations, confirmations and days spent together, they ended up falling in love. Now we are gathering to celebrate what God has brought together. “Therefore what God has put together, let no man separate”. - Matthew 19:6
