Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Self parking is available at the cathedral in a gated lot. Valet parking will be available at the reception.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal or black tie optional. The Detroit Yacht Club’s guide for proper attire is as follows: “Preferred dress code is a coat and tie for men, but collared shirts with a jacket are acceptable with dress slacks and shoes. Dress code for women is dresses or pantsuits and shoes.”

Can I arrive by boat or yacht?

Answer

Yes, slips in the marina can be reserved for the reception and overnight. Please email harbormaster@dyc.com for details and reservations and mention that you will be attending the Toma/Belisle wedding. Spaces are reserved on a first come first serve basis. The DYC anticipates a busy week so the more notice the better!
