Georgia is Lucy's older sister. She used to always ask people to guess who was older, until she realized that they started to guess correctly! Their relationship has evolved over the years from roommates, which had its ups and its downs, to confidantes both living life on the East Coast (NYC and VA), and finally to best friends and (almost) neighbors in New Orleans. Georgia's role as the big sister has always included being the trendsetter and personal stylist, mental health therapist, hype girl, and fitness accountability partner. Lucy couldn't imagine having anyone else standing next to her on the big day!
Dr. James DeVaney (Jim)
Best Man
Jim is Martin's dad. He has been a constant and steady role model throughout Martin's life. Jim's loyalty, hard work ethic, and dedication to his family are some of the characteristics that Martin has respected throughout his life, and those same characteristics are what Lucy sees in Martin. In addition to serving as a role model to Martin, Jim also serves as Martin's personal on-call doctor, and thanks to modern technology, Martin has had many "telehealth" appointments after his move to New Orleans. Martin couldn't imagine having anyone else stand by him as his Best Man on the most important and magical day of his life!
