We’re getting married!

Our love story began several years ago, the actual date is unknown but we’ve approximated the year to 2012. At first Lisa and Marty were just good friends. They spent many a overtime shift laughing and talking together. And of course, there was plenty of teasing banter. They both appreciated the other’s honesty and humor. It wasn’t until Marty’s 27th birthday that he told Lisa she had to be his “arm candy” when they went out to celebrate. That night, something clicked and they decided maybe there was something between them worth exploring.

Marty was still living in New York City and Lisa was visiting Long Island for her best friends baby shower. Little did she know that he had been planning this weekend for months (and she didn’t make things easy for him). Marty had to get several people in on the plan in order to get Lisa to Central Park that Sunday. He kept his cool through it all, even when she got sick on the car ride back, and she never had a clue! Finally, just a little bit past the Bow Bridge Marty got down on one knee, and the rest is history!
