Westport Cafe and Bar

Manifesto

Our favorite date spot. A romantic hole-in-the-wall bar with creative libations and the best pommes frites.

Ça Va

They know us by name here, that’s how much we love their falafel, gyros, and shawarma. (We also frequent their food truck on late nights.)

Jerusalem Cafe

Be a local and pronounce it "key". Great coffee in the River Market area. Take the streetcar down Main Street to get there.

Quay Coffee

For the architecture fans. Formerly Merchant Bank constructed in 1920, this pre-war beauty evokes art deco sentimentality. A River Market spot perfect for larger parties.

Brown & Loe

You can’t come to Kansas City without indulging in some KC BBQ. Joe’s KC is pretty much a historical landmark of Cowtown. Martin recommends the Z Man Sandwich.
