We met junior year of high school and started dating senior year in November 2018. At the time, we had both committed to colleges on opposite sides of the state so our next three years were filled with long car rides visiting each other and meeting in the middle every few weekends. Carissa graduated college early and moved to Madison, significantly decreasing the distance between us. Once Martin graduated, we moved into an apartment together with our cat Bean and have been in Madison ever since. A few years later, we adopted our second cat Chili and have since bought a house for them to run around in! We got engaged on the beach in Sister Bay while on a weekend getaway with some friends in October. We're so excited for this next chapter in our lives together and we can't wait to celebrate our marriage with you all!
